what's in our bags (school edition)

I try to keep the contents of my bag as simple and clean as possible for school. This is the bare minimum of what I bring with me, with the additional of a textbook here and a binder there.

1. MAC makeup case filled with a couple brushes, powder, a comb, bobby pins and a hair tie.
2. Klean Kanteen.
3. Lunch. This day it was cashews, golden berries and cacao nibs in a Lunchbots container.
4. Macbook Pro.
5. Moleskine daytimer.
6. Reading material for the long commute. I’ve just started The Wealth of Nations.
7. Gum. Plus three more packs. I’m an addict.
8. Lipchap. It’s winter and disgustingly dry.
9. Cellphone and charger.
10. Everlane bag.

My school bag is typically a mish-mash of school stuff and regular bag stuff. I am only in school a few times a week and don't spend too much time on campus. 

1. I prefer to handwrite my notes as opposed to using a computer (especially in class). This semester I am using Moleskine Cahier Journals as opposed to the usual lined paper in a binder that is more like a notebook thing—figured I would splurge for my last semester of undergrad! Oh, and Sharpie pens + highlighter. I only write my notes in black Sharpie pen. I like consistency. 
2. Camelbak Waterbottle
3. Gum (I prefer cinnamon everything) 
4. Lipstick/Lipbalm 
5.  Sunglasses 
6. Headphones for the bus or walking to and from places!
7.  iPhone, duh.
8.  Matt & Nat wallet (that my rabbit chewed... sorry Mom)
9. Baggu with llamas on it—I often stop at the grocery store on my way home and I hate plastic bags. Not only are they not environmentally friendly but not sturdy enough for the walk home.
